About us
Bridging the gap between youth and stakeholders at global advocacy and multilateral decision-making spaces to advance intersectional health & well-being.
Founded in 2020, The Association for Youth Well-Being is a youth-led organization dedicated to fostering awareness and advocacy for the critical intersections of health and well-being, especially in the global south.
YWB is a youth-led collective working locally and internationally to advocate for the implementation of good health and well-being in all its intersections for young people, women and girls by advancing meaningful youth engagement in global multilateral and multi-stakeholder processes at the UN, intergovernmental organisations and with members of governments.
YWB stands as a beacon of empowerment, led entirely by adolescents who embody the spirit of innovation and determination. While our leadership is youth-centric, we actively encourage and embrace collaboration from individuals of diverse age groups and backgrounds, recognizing the collective strength that arises from inclusivity.

Our goal is to push for youth-driven recommendations on well-being and health to take center stage in decision-making spaces. Through the drafting of youth-centric reports, we help youth associate and initiate discussions with senior decision-makers at the UN, governments, and civil society, ensuring the implementation of health-centric policies for equal health.

Our Mission:
Our mission is to drive meaningful change by advancing the implementation of comprehensive health and well-being initiatives for young people, women, and girls. We operate at both local and international levels, engaging in active advocacy within global multilateral and multi-stakeholder processes at the UN, intergovernmental organizations, and with governmental representatives. Our mission is grounded in the belief that a healthier and more equitable world is achievable through the concerted efforts of passionate young leaders. YWB envisions a future where the well-being of the youth in the global south is prioritized, ensuring a robust foundation for the development and prosperity of generations to come.
